Little Acorns Nursery In High Halden

Little Acorns Nursery in High Halden is a rural nursery and a registered charity. We are located on land adjacent to the village school and are registered to take up to a maximum of 29 children per session.

We aim to provide  high quality childcare in a happy, safe environment with experienced, caring staff.

We have excellent facilities. Our main inside play area  is large, bright and open plan with a wide variety of toys and activities to stimulate the children’s interests and aid their development. We have malleable play, craft , water and sand. We also have a role play area, book corner and floor play area and construction, manipulative play, games, puzzles, music and activities to develop fine motor skills.

We have two lovely outdoor areas,  a woodland area,  where children can explore and discover using the natural environment in a multisensory way and a hard surface playground for physical activities as well as messy play.

We have a mud kitchen, sand and water etc and free flow play inside and out in all weathers.

The children regularly take part in cooking activities, where healthy eating can be promoted.
